Students by course & Educational Strategies: 
Our program of Spanish grammar is unique and is based on the official syllabus of the Ministries of Public Education of Peru, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. Our students receive the fundamental aspects of the grammar of spoken and written language in four levels. They also receive the basic rules of oral expression and reflection on language as taught in the first level of the Preschool until 6th grade of Primary Education in the Elementary Schools of Latin America. With the purpose of ensuring high quality Spanish teaching as well as an individualized attention to the students, our Center limits class size to 15 pupils, with two teachers per classroom and additional staff involvement. This results in a ratio of 6 to 1 in the attention to our students.

Staff:
Our teachers, the main support of the program, are professionals in their fields and have earned their Academic Degrees in universities of the United States in Latin America countries. Their degrees include Education, Pre-school education, Early Childhood Education, special Education, Music Education, Art and Dance. Some of our teachers are part of the Fairfax County Public School System. Some are holders of a Master's Degree in their specialties and have between 10 and 25 years of teaching experience. This year, the center will be provided with a network of guest teachers who work in Departments of Spanish, Arts, Sciences, and Humanities of the network of Public Universities and Research Centers Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Chile.

Our staff is required to complete the background check of the Child Protective Service Registry; our teachers receive CPR training and a TB assessment is done every two years.

Program Types.

The Center provides two different modalities:  Modality A. (Ages 3 - 5). Preschool & Kinder. (Monday – Friday). Saturday Program. Modality B. (Ages 6 – 12). After School Program and Saturday Program. Children’s Center for Language & Culture, Inc., is specialized in teaching Spanish language for children from 3 to 12 years old. Classes are given in two ways, directly in the Center of Vienna, VA in the modality after school (M-F) from (2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.); (4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.) with an additional immersion on Saturdays, or on Saturdays of 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Spanish preschool is from (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.); (2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.); (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).  By direct request of your school's PTA, the classes can be given directly in the Public or Private Schools Fairfax County, in their schedules of before and after school, with a minimum of 10 pupils for group. In the course of the school year, the pupils learn and/or take part in: • Group music lessons on the violin, classic guitar, flute, accordion with opportunities to perform in ensembles. • Dance activities of Mexico, South American folklore, Salsa, Merengue, Flamenco, and other forms. • Cuisine of Latin-American Food such as tamales, tacos, quesadillas, gallo pinto, pupusas, with tasting parties, delicious! • Language Arts, to include grammar, spelling, literary workshops, poetry, press school, calligraphy, and other activities. • Clubs for writing, drawing, painting, board and card games, to include chess. • Public and/or private performances. • Summer exchange trips to Latin American countries. • Summer Camp.

Our Center offers three different options to take the program of Immersion. 

Option I: Preschool and Kindergarten, ages 3-5 years
Option II: After School Program, ages – 6-12
Option III: Saturday Program, ages 3-12
